Top 15 for Enea Bastianini in Assen

Enea Bastianini, who started 19th, set a good pace that allowed him to move up positions and cross the finish line in the top 15. The Italian rider adds one more point, placing him in 16th position in the overall standings.

“It was a good race, but I spent a lot of energy, and it was hard to get to the end. In the early stages I lost some time, but when I relaxed and let go, I felt more comfortable. We didn’t have a bad race, we probably need to improve a bit to find the limit of this bike. Now we have a few weeks to rest and to train because MotoGP is very tiring, both physically and mentally.”

Ritorno in Top Ten al GP di Catalunya

Back to the Top Ten at CatalanGP

Enea Bastianini made a great comeback after starting from 17th position in qualifying. The Italian was able to cross the finish line in a well-deserved and hard-earned 10th place.

It was a good race and I enjoyed it. I tried to cut as much time as possible to the riders in front and I’m happy with the position, but a little bit less so because of the gap to the first. I suffered a lot under braking and today I didn’t feel 100%. Fortunately, tomorrow we have a test here where we can work and prepare for the next race and maybe get the confidence I lost with the crash on Saturday

Difficult and exciting race in Le Mans

The rain made an appearance and all the riders entered Pit Lane to make the change of motorcycle. Enea Bastianini, who suffered an off-track just before going through the Pit Lane to change his bike, was finally able to finish 14th, a very positive result after all the time he lost due to this setback. For his part, Luca Marini, with a very intelligent race, manages to finish 12th.

A very strange race. In the dry we were going quite well I was happy on the first lap I was increasing the pace, then it started to rain and I went off the track before the bike change and I lost a lot of time and I entered very late to change the bike. After the first lap with the water tires, I couldn’t get the tires to warm up, but when the water decreased it was much better and at the end it was very strong like the first 5. we will do better.

Meanwhile Luca Marini after very good qualy and a start that has kept him in the top 10 for several laps, has finished in 12th position.

I’ve had the opportunity to study the other riders, I was late, but I’ve made it. On the last lap I have been the fastest of the grid. I have been able to race the bike in the right way avoiding movement and achieved the best result of the season so far; I am very satisfied with the work we have done. I´m headed to Jerez convinced of our potential and knowing that we can be in the first positions.

DohaGP ends with very positive results for Avintia Esponsorama Racing Team

Doha (Qatar) April 4, 2021 – Ends the second GP on the Losail International Circuit. Enea Bastianini who was started the 18th has managed to go up finishing 11th, some problems with the hair and sweat have not allowed him to have good visibility in the last laps preventing a better position. Luca Marini has finished 18th; the Italian continues to improve with the achieving to get better results.

We have made a great race; I am very happy. I’m go up, even if I would have liked to be on grid much better, I am sure that I could have fought with the first ones. Unfortunately 6 or 7 laps from the end, my hair and sweat did not let me have good visibility and don’t let me to stay focused, again obstacle and bad luck! We have improve more than last weekend so I’m very satisfied. See you soon.

In the top ten at the first GP in Qatar

Unmemorable day for Team Avintia Esponsorama Racing. Enea Bastiani manages to be the best debutant in the MotoGP category finishing in a surprising 10th position in his first race this season, the Italian had some problem in the starting grid but after he comeback to get into the top 10.

“It’s been amazing! Unfortunately, I have not been able to activate the system that lowers the bike at the race exit so I could not get better. In the first few laps I felt a little tired, the power of the Ducati that I have to manage is a lot. It’s taken me a little while with the new tires to be behind the others, but in the end I feel better until I reach the tenth. I saw that I could reach seventh place, but five laps from the end I made a small mistake and failed the trajectory losing the possibility of overtaking. I am very happy with the result, we have worked very well. My goal was to finish in the Top 10 and I’ve made it.”

Enea Bastianini is the Moto2 World Champion

A final with a sweet, unique, BESTIAL taste.
This was the Portuguese Grand Prix, last round of the MotoGP World Championship. We will never forget this season with cancellations and postponements. A championship behind closed doors because of a common and invisible enemy, but still thrilling.

Italtrans Racing Team fought against Covid-19, a new calendar, the other teams and their riders, and in the end arrived as World Champion at the finish line of this beautiful circuit in Portugal, with the chequered flag waving at the end of 23 laps that seemed like an eternity.

Enea Bastianini arrived in Portimao 14 points ahead of Lowes, 18 Marini and 23 Bezzecchi, and pushed hard with determination conquering the Moto2 title. A success that comes at the end of an amazing season with 3 victories, 1 second place, 3 third place and the other placements always in the top ten.

He raced today with lucidity, getting the fifth final position and the World Title. The best result before the jump in MotoPG.

Lorenzo Dalla Porta finished his season as a rookie close to the points, struggling with the shoulder.

Italtrans Racing Team would like to seize this opportunity to thank Dorna and Irta for making the championship a reality, but above all to all the partners and sponsors for their support in this tough and incredible season! See you in 2021!

“It was a tough season, but we managed to start it. We never stopped believing we could win the title and being here today is incredible. I feel so many emotions. This is the best day of my whole life! It was my last race in Moto2 with Mia, my bike, and it wasn’t easy at all: it was impossible to win, but with the fifth final position I conquered the title. I dedicate this victory to Italtrans, Mrs. Laura, Germano and Claudio Bellina, the whole team, my family, my girlfriend and everyone who supported me”.

Enea Bastianini fights to sixth in ValenciaGP

Valencia Grand Prix between lights and shadows for Italtrans Racing Team, on track at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit for the 14th and next to last round of the season.

Arrived at this second consecutive round on the Spanish track as leader of the Moto2 World Championship, Enea Bastianini raced with concentration, strategy and heart, confirming the leadership of the standings.

His race was conditioned by a tough qualifying, starting from the fourth row of the grid with the 12th time and out of the fight for the podium. Already in the top ten at the end of lap 1, Bastianini set a great pace of 1’35” for the whole race and finished 6th.
A solid race at the end of which he is even more leader of the Moto2 World Championship 14 points ahead Lowes and 18 Marini. The final challenge will be next weekend at Portimao.

“Positive race even though we suffered at T4 all weekend long. We scored important points for the standings, but we could do something more. We are still leader and now we have to be focused for next challenge in Portimao”.

Back on the top of Moto2 standing

Superb Enea Bastianini conquers outstanding fourth in Valencia

An incredible Sunday of emotions for Italtrans Racing Team at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Valencia, Spain, for the 13th and third last round of this 2020 season.

Great performance of Enea Bastianini, fourth and again leader of the standings. An incredible race for the Italian rider, who could have conquered the podium if he had not been “penalized” by an unlucky qualifying. Yesterday, in fact, the rain tyres didn’t allow him to lower his best time of 1’42”677 and without a mistake in the final lap he would surely caught the second row of the grid. Starting from the fifth one, in two laps Enea had already recovered 9 positions, passing from 15th to 6th thanks to an excellent start. He managed well the tyre drop a few laps from the checkered flag and with a constant pace under the 1’36” he finished 4th after overtaking Baldassarri. In this way he scored 13 important points and for the third time this season he is again leader of the standing, 6 points ahead the English Lowes, his main rival in the title fight.

I’m happy! I started well, trying to recover positions. I had a good pace and I thought I could take the first ones, but they also had a great pace. When Lowes crashed I tried to push a little bit more, but in the last laps I preferred to go back on my times and race safe. Very good because now I’m back first in the standings.
