An extraordinary victory was achieved by Enea at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix. In one fell swoop, Enea clinched the Grand Prix win, Ducati’s 100th victory, and secured the constructors’ championship. A day to remember. The overtaking maneuver on the last lap against Jorge Martin in front of the Brutapela grandstand, in front of the official Fan Club, was the icing on the cake!

I am extremely happy about this victory! It was a weekend of steady progress; every evening, we worked late into the night to make a step forward the following day. Last night, we worked until 10:00 PM, but I’d say it was worth it.
Jorge Martin was incredibly fast during the race, and there was a moment when I wasn’t sure I could keep up with his pace. I stayed focused throughout, and in the end, I found that extra something that allowed me to win the race. I want to thank all the fans present today for their immense support, as well as my fan club, my family, and those who are always by my side.

The Ducati Lenovo Team was the protagonist of an incredible race at the Monster Energy British Grand Prix, with Enea Bastianini winning both the Saturday Sprint Race and the Sunday Grand Prix.

In the race, Bastianini had a strong start from third position, passing through the first corner in second place. The first two laps were not easy for Ducati rider #23, who made two small mistakes that cost him positions. As the laps progressed, Enea managed to regain the right feeling with his Desmosedici GP, overtaking Aleix Espargaró and setting off in pursuit of Martín and Bagnaia. With seven laps to go, Bastianini took advantage of a mistake by his teammate at turn three, climbing back to second place and finding himself just one second behind the race leader. Thanks to an impressive pace in the final stages, he closed the gap to Martín, taking the lead on the penultimate lap and crossing the finish line with a margin of nearly two seconds over his rival. This marks Bastianini’s first career double victory, on the day of the 75th anniversary of MotoGP.

It was a tough race because I made a few mistakes in the first two laps and found myself a bit behind. But then I found the right confidence to get back among the front runners: I closed the gap first on Aleix (Espargaró), who was not easy to overtake, and then on Pecco. In the last four or five laps, Jorge was pushing really hard, and it wasn’t easy to close the gap. Getting back to the top step of the podium in the Sunday race is fantastic. I am working on myself: I analyzed the first part of the season, both the positive and negative aspects. I have generally had a good race pace so far, but obviously, my qualifying performance has often penalized me. I tried to work on the psychological aspect to avoid being caught unprepared in this regard, and I hope to continue like this.

The Ducati Lenovo Team celebrated the Brembo Italian Grand Prix at the Mugello International Circuit in the best possible way, securing victory with Francesco Bagnaia and second place with Enea Bastianini. Both riders delivered a spectacular performance on their Desmosedici GP bikes with special livery dedicated to the Italian national team, in front of their home crowd.

Bastianini made an excellent start, staying in the fight for the podium throughout the entire race. With three laps to go, Enea managed to overtake Marc Márquez for third place, then set his sights on Jorge Martín. Despite having little time, Ducati rider #23 quickly caught up with his brand mate, overtaking him at the last corner and racing towards second place at the checkered flag.

“This podium in front of the home crowd is incredible. Something hadn’t been working well recently, but we solved the problems, and today we really pushed to the maximum. I’m really happy: I had a dip in performance halfway through the race, despite feeling good on the bike, but after being overtaken by Marc (Márquez), I knew it was time to push. On the last lap, I saw Jorge (Martín) getting closer and realized that second place was a real possibility. I achieved it at the last corner, and I am really pleased. I would like to dedicate this victory to my dog, who passed away last week. In a way, she was my baby.”

The Ducati Lenovo Team secured third place in the race at the Circuit of The Americas thanks to an excellent performance by Enea Bastianini, who showed significant improvement in the final part of the race. Francesco Bagnaia finished fifth after a strong first half, but faced more difficulties in the closing stages.

After a good start that saw him in second position at the first corner, Bastianini lost ground and was seventh by lap seven. The rider from Rimini once again demonstrated his competitiveness in the second half of the race, catching up to the leading group and overtaking his teammate with eight laps to go. The third place was clinched in the penultimate lap when Enea managed to outperform Jorge Martín (Pramac Racing), then pulled away from his brand-mate and finished the race undisturbed.

Bagnaia was fortunate to emerge unscathed from contact with Martín and Viñales at the start, and from sixth place, he moved up to second during the sixth lap, then lost three positions in the following laps. From there on, Pecco ran a defensive race, losing ground from the leaders, but still managed to finish fifth at the checkered flag.

At the end of the third Grand Prix of the season, Bastianini is in second place in the standings, led by Jorge Martín with 59 points, while Bagnaia is currently in fifth position, nine points behind his teammate. The Ducati Lenovo Team leads the team standings (96 points) and Ducati is firmly in command of the constructors’ standings (109 points).

‘It was a great race and I’m very happy with the podium, especially because the weekend was a bit so-so. I started well and wanted to stay with the front group, but ended up losing positions partly because I was struggling a bit with the front while in the middle of the pack. In the second part, which is kind of my specialty, I managed to recover and go strong, which allowed me to finish on the podium. Of course, I would have liked to win, but we can only be happy with this result.’
